Choosing the best Landscape Contractor

There are quite a few things to keep in mind when choosing a landscape contractor. Some more important than others, of course, but either way you should take note of each of them. Having a fantastic landscape contractor is definitely a must. This is especially important when trying to sell a home (on a real estate market that's not what it used to be.) Curb appeal will always help bring buyers in the door!

Main points for choosing a landscape contractor:

  • You get what you pay for; if the landscape contractor seems to cheap, there's probably a good reason for it. Check to see if they have a business license and carry workmans comp on their workers.

  • Make sure the company owns the necessary tools and has the sufficient amount of workers. Ask around to see if they are doing any landscape work for your neighbors (this will help you discover whether these facts are true.)

  • Ask for references! If they supply you with them, follow up on them and ask their current customers about their experiences. Obviously, you're only going to get happy customer info so keep that in mind.
